ḤADĪTH OF THE DAY

“ The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said, "Indeed, when a bondsman commits a sin, a black blemish is marked on his1 heart. If he refrains, asks for forgiveness, and repents, his heart is polished clean. But if he returns, the blemish grows until it covers his heart. This is the covering stain (of sins and evil deeds) that God has mentioned [in the Quran], ' No! Rather, the stain has covered their hearts of that which they were earning. ' (83 [al-Muṭaffifīn]: 14)". 1Masculine pronouns are generally used in Arabic as a means for referring to both men and women when the meaning is left general and is not otherwise specified. ”
